Can I, as a homeowner, install my own wiring and/or electrical equipment?
No, per our local code amendment the homeowner is not allowed to install any permanent wiring or electrical equipment. Only a State licensed Electrical contractor registered in Edmond or their licensed representative is allowed to do this. The only exception to this is the replacement of receptacles, the box supporting the fixture, light switches or similar light fixtures where it does not include replacement or addition of wiring.
