Can I bring my child/grandchild to the Senior Center?: Children may visit the Senior Center only if they are with an adult and are touring the building.
Children are not allowed to participate in Senior Center activities except if they are part of a special program or a special event includes families.

1. What is the age requirement to attend the Senior Center?: Fifty-five (55) years of age or better.

2. Where is the Senior Center located?: 2733 Marilyn Williams Drive, Edmond. Located in Mitch Park just off Covell Road, between Kelly and Santa Fe. Phone: 405-216-7600.

3. Is there a membership fee to attend the Senior Center?: No. We do accept a “voluntary” donation of $15.00 per year. This money goes toward future programs and activities. Some classes may require a fee, you pay the instructor directly.

4. When can we come tour the Senior Center?: During regular business hours 8:00 am - 4:00 pm; Monday through Friday.

5. Do you provide transportation to the Senior Center?: No. The Edmond Senior Center does not provide transportation to the facility.

6. What services do you provide at the Senior Center?: Recreational, social and educational activities for *independent older adults age 55 and better.
*an independent adult requires no supervision and is capable of planning and executing activities of interest at the Senior Center.

7. Where can I pick up a copy of your monthly newsletter?: You may pick up a copy of the monthly newsletter at the Edmond Senior Center (2733 Marilyn Williams Drive), or you may view it online here.

8. Do you serve lunch at the Senior Center?: Yes, lunch is served at 11:30 am. You must call one day in advance before 11:00 am to put in your reservation. The suggested donation for lunch is $4.00. Call our meal hotline at 405-216-7900.

10. Can I bring my pet to the Senior Center?: Pets are not allowed within the Senior Center except service animals or therapy companions. Trained and licensed animals may be brought to the Senior Center as part of a scheduled program.

11. Does the Senior Center have information on senior housing in Edmond?: Call Senior Connection at 405-943-4344 for more information.

12. Do you teach computer classes at the Senior Center?: No. Call Francis Tuttle at 405-717-7799; or Computer Club of Oklahoma City/Senior Net at 405-843-4300 ( www.ccokc.org ) for more information.

13. Does the Senior Center have a pool/exercise equipment?: We have stationary bikes only and no pool. However, the YMCA located next door to our building is equipped with a pool. Please note that the Edmond Senior Center is not affiliated with the YMCA and participation in Senior Center activities does not grant membership or admission to the Mitch Park YMCA. 14. Do you have information about the trails at Mitch Park?: We have maps only, for more information call the Parks and Recreation Department at 405-359-4630.

15. Do you rent rooms at the Senior Center?: Yes. Limited rentals are available. Call Parks and Recreation Department at 405-359-4630.

16. Do you know the number for the mobile meals program?: Yes. The Mobile Meals number is 405-341-3111.

17. Does the Senior Center meet ADA requirements for handicap accessibility?: Yes.
