Fourth Street between Littler Avenue and South Boulevard will be closed beginning Dec. 27 while work is done as part of the Stephenson Park Improvement Project.

That section of Fourth Street is expected to be closed into July 2023 while work to add on-street parking, put down new paving and install streetscape upgrades are completed.

Drivers are asked to adjust their routes and travel schedule accordingly.

Work on the stormwater infrastructure, a part of the project that required the closure of Fifth Street, has been completed and Fifth Street is now reopened.

The project is part of the $6.5 million renovation projects at Stephenson Park, which also includes adding green space, upgrading stormwater infrastructure and water infrastructure, adding new lighting, and a new playground area.
