K-9 Unit

  • Patrol dogs are trained and utilized in Tracking, Building Searches, Narcotic Detection, Article Searches, Suspect Apprehension and Handler Protection.
  • K-9 Unit is available to respond and assist schools when in session.
  • Dogs are certified in Narcotic Detection or Bomb Detection.
  • Utilized at special events such as parades, large public gatherings at city parks and Arcadia Lake.
