Project Keep

What is Project Keep?

Project Keep ProgramWhen seconds count in an emergency, this program is designed to give first responders and emergency services vital information about you or your loved one who has special needs. This is a continued effort to serve our citizens with the best emergency and first responder services. This is free and totally voluntary.

The information provided can also be used in other ways. For example, if your non-verbal child wanders away from home and someone from a different address calls Edmond emergency services, the information stored in our database can be used to return the child safely home more quickly.

What Happens When I Call?

When a call is made from your residence to Edmond 911, the call taker will immediately see the emergency contact information and the nature of the disability. More simply, the information you choose to provide will be in our system and is flagged by your address. This information is entered and stored in our secure server that is only used by emergency personnel.

How to Participate

Completed forms can be mailed to 100 E. First Street, Edmond, OK 73034, emailed to projectkeep@edmondok.gov, or you can complete the online registration form. If you have provided this information in the past, please do so again. We want to make sure that we have the most current information possible.

The Edmond Public Safety Communications Center appreciates your support in our mission to provide the best service to our citizens.
