New Year, new events! Volunteering with Urban Forestry is a great way to get involved in the community and invest in a healthy urban forest. This spring’s schedule of volunteer opportunities kicks off on February 28th, and the full schedule may be viewed at Urban Forestry Volunteers.

This year’s Arbor Week celebration will take place from March 25-30, with tree planting events on March 28th and March 30th. Keep an eye out for more details about this year’s events at Edmond Arbor Week and on Facebook.

Don’t forget that participating in volunteer events with your community group can earn points for your organization toward the Volunteer Group of the Year Award! Join us as we plant trees and spread mulch, and your group may be eligible for local recognition and trees for planting at a location of your choice!
