About the Board

The Community Policing Board was established in 1997 to serve in partnership with the Edmond Police Department and the community, to assist in identifying the policing priorities of the community and suggesting processes to address those priorities and to provide immediate feedback to proposed changes in the delivering of police services. The CPB Council consists of one police liaison and 11 members. Each member is a citizen of Edmond and is appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the City Council.
